Eastside Calvary Chapel is a church that is authentic in life: real people, real problems, real love, real support, and real solutions through the word of God. It is a church that loves its neighbours as itself through serving, giving, encouraging, rejoicing with those who rejoice and mourning with those who mourn. We love to worship and will promote corporate worship experiences while cultivating personal worship day to day.

Eastside Calvary Chapel is a church that provides real, tangible, and undeniable experience with God for everyone we minister to through teaching from the Word chapter to chapter and verse to verse, meaningful worship, and relationships. We want to see the healing of social injustices in our community, our city, and our world. Eastside Church wants to practically show God’s love to the homeless, the addicted, the marginalized, the confused, and the hurting.

Eastside Calvary Chapel is a church that is growing; People who are engaged in sound biblical teaching and ‘life on life’ discipleship, growing in their relationship with God; disciples producing disciples; home groups producing home groups; ministries producing ministries; and churches producing churches. Our East Vancouver Church is a place that has Jesus at the centre of every decision and every action, always longing to bring glory and honour to His name.

We’re a non-denominational church that doesn’t emphasize programs or church government…we just simply teach the Bible chapter by chapter. It’s a simple church. Everyone who serves shows up and enjoys the morning. We don’t believe in meeting 7 nights each week. Ministry to our own families has to come first, discipleship within our homes must be our priority. Through our community we reach out to our friends at Frog Hollow Neighbourhood House, the eastside of Vancouver, and the city as a whole with the desire to show God’s love in practical ways. It’s a different kind of church and easy to attend. We’ve been forgiven much and so it is our heart to forgive.

Eastside Calvary Chapel doesn’t take up tithes and offerings. There’s a box at the back of the church if you feel led to give, but that is completely between you and the Lord. There’s no pressure here. God has guided us and God is providing for us. We have an amazing group of servants that have been gathered from all over Vancouver.
